Winfield went into half time down 20-0 against St. Charles High on Friday, Oct. 4. 

The game finished 26-12, with Winfield, for the second week in a row, out-scoring their opponents in the second half.

Winfield’s two touchdowns came in the fourth quarter the form of a Will Killingham rushing TD with 5:41 on the clock and a Charos Sutton pass to Chase Rankin with 41 seconds remaining in the game.

Rankin also got the interception that led to the first Winfield scoring drive.

The 26 points that the Warriors gave up is the lowest tally against that the Warriors’ defense has recorded this season.

Winfield plays at home on Friday, October 11 against Warrenton. That game kicks off at 7 p.m.
