Elsberry/Winfield, Mo. - After routing Confluence Prep for its first win in program history, Winfield-Elsberry looked for two-in-a-row when it hosted Monroe City on Sept. 3.

That dream was not to be, as the Warriors fell, 46-14.

Senior Wade Ellison went 17 of 31 for 195 yards and two scores, and added 53 yards on the ground to lead Winfield-Elsberry. Austin Carson snagged five passes for 80 yards and a TD, and Cody Menze added 67 yards on four receptions.
