An interception return for a TD as time expired sent Timberland into the locker room celebrating with a 28-14 halftime room on Troy Buchanan's own field during the Trojans' homecoming.

That was the last time the Wolves did any celebrating at Troy's expense on Saturday. The Trojans erupted for 35 points in the second half, 28 of them unanswered, on the way to a 49-35 win over Timberland that kept Troy alive for a conference championship.

Troy Buchanan coach Ryan Nesbitt took a couple of moments after the victory to speak to Shawn Singleton of the Lincoln County Journal to discuss the game - and the Trojans' intensity in the final 24 minutes.
