Sixty-five 4-H members from Lincoln, Montgomery and Warren counties attended 4-H camp in June at Camp Derricotte in Cuivre River State Park.

Activities included a program on owl pellets (dissecting what an owl ate); lift off (learning about flight and gravity); and quest (learning about cultural differences). Also, University of Missouri Extension staff presented a program on nutrition and health.

In addition, campers made leather coin purses and enjoyed a dance and campfire with s’mores.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office also put on a demonstration for the campers with its K-9 dogs.
