On April 9, St. Louis Rally Cross, a subdivision of Sports Car Club of America, held its first Rally X event in Troy in a field off Highway J in Troy.

The event was moved to Lincoln County because its original site, which is owned by the City of Madison, Illinois, is turning the field into a parking lot for the upcoming NASCAR race in June.

The field in Troy is owned by a SCCA member, and the group plans to hold more events there in the future.
