Cross Country EHS and EMS

The Elsberry Cross Country Harriers continue to burn up the course, especially in the middle school division after taking first place on Monday at Clopton.

Team results were Ben Dowell, fifth; Noah Taylor, sixth; Gavin Woodson, seventh; Deavion Dodson, eighth and Nolan Wilson, ninth.  Team member Kyle Tapley was able to finish with a new personal best time for the season.

In the high school division Candice Dowell took fifth place, while her sister, Caylyn Dowell, finished with her personal best time.  In the boys division Josiah Heras topped the charts with second place, while his brother, Lyman Heras finished in ninth place.

With not many Harriers on the team this year, Coaches Ezra Tillotson and Jenny Lynn Heras couldn’t be more proud of their runners and the time and effort they put into every race.
