Patrick Martin Stanek, 56, of Hawk Point, passed away on Sept. 6, 2020, at The Estates of Spanish Lake. Pat was born on Feb. 22, 1964, in Troy to Charles F. ‘Frankie’ and Sharon (Towne) Stanek. He grew up in Hawk Point and attended Troy Public schools along with his four siblings: Michael, Toni, Charlie and Sandy. He graduated from Troy Buchanan High School in 1982.
Pat was blessed with two children – Nichole and Ryan; they were his pride and joy. He worked as warehouse supervisor at Arrowhead Roofing in St. Peters for a number of years, and he was a valued employee and friend.
Pat was a man of deep feeling and passion, and there were a few things he loved dearly. Among those were rock music, and anything relating to the U.S. Civil War and Native American culture; Pat was also a die-hard Ford fan, and loved his blue F-150. His heart was the happiest when he was surrounded by his loving family, particularly his children and grandchildren. Pat and his contagious smile will be sorely missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
Patrick is survived by his two children: Nichole (Michael) Day of Moscow Mills; and Ryan Stanek of Troy; his parents: Charles F. ‘Frankie’ and Sharon Stanek of Hawk Point; his grandchildren: Hayden, Trystan, Ty, Lexi, Isabella, Rylynn and Cade, his siblings: Michael and wife Cindy Stanek of Hawk Point, Toni and husband Dennis Kallash of Troy, Charlie and wife Cindy Stanek of Troy, and Sandy and husband Steve Miller of Old Monroe; the mother of his children, Terri (Don) Tinnin as well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 2 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Journey Church - Troy.
Funeral - was also held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Journey Church - Troy. Pallbearers - Jason Cox, Corey Miller, Casey Miller, Greg Duff, Keith Kersting and Dale Hepperman. Honorary pallbearers: Rich Kraaz, Hayden Rowan and Trystan Day. Pastor Jesse Quiroz officiated.
Interment - Private St. Mary’s Cemetery Mashek, MO.
