Michael Lee LeJeune, Sr., 66, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020 in Troy, Missouri. Michael was born on April 13, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri, son of Monte L and Norene (Vance) LeJeune.
Michael graduated from Pattonville High School and continued his education at Florrisant Valley Community College. He worked as a machinist at McDonnell Douglas, then owned and operated Black River Family Restaurant and Motel for over 20 years and most recently remodeled and rehabbed homes. Michael was a member of Troy Masonic Lodge # 34 AF&AM. He was just a few hours short of his pilot license. Michael lived to be a first responder and volunteer firefighter. He was an avid hunter. Michael was a very generous man, when he owned the restaurant he donated a lot of his time for different charities within the community.
He is survived his three sons: Michael LeJeune, Jr. and wife Deborah of Troy, MO; Derick LeJeune of Troy, MO and by Quinton LeJeune of Moscow Mills, MO; his mother, Norene LeJeune of O’Fallon, MO; two sisters: Wanda LeJeune and Diane Conroy; one brother-in-law, Mike Kettlehake; two former wives: Sheryl LeJeune of Troy, Mo and Linda LeJeune of Troy, MO; six grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Monte LeJeune, one sister, Christine Kettlehake and one brother-in-law, Pat Conroy.
