Michael Ferguson

Michael Jacob Ferguson, the son of Christopher and Gail Ferguson, came into this world on November 11, 1971 at St.  Joseph’s Hospital in St Charles, Mo.  As he often joked, his birthday was celebrated by a holiday, parades and the closure of banks and businesses.  Mike’s last fight was one with liver cancer, that he took on head first and fought with the same voracity that he lived his life, with his all.  He went home to be with Jesus on April 21st, 2021 in his home in Moscow Mills, surrounded by his family.

Mike spent 16 years as a line supervisor at True Manufacturing.  He loved his “True” Family and took great pride in the accomplishments his team achieved.  Mike realized, in baseball as in life the important things happen at home.

On July 23rd, 2011, Mike married his best friend and partner in adventures and crime- Penny.  Together they blended two families together creating one crazy house filled with laughter, love, joy and Jesus.

Mike will be missed dearly by all who loved him and knew him.  He was an incredible man with an unparalleled zest for life that he thankfully passed on to his children and grandchildren.  From “high-fiving Jesus” at Christ of the Abyss to sharing the view with his family from 14,440’ above Colorado’s highest mountain, to jumping out of a perfectly good airplane, a fast ride in an old Mustang, to enjoying a frosty cold Budweiser while enjoying a Cardinals game with friends and family-he taught us all that the really good things in life are beyond all of the “Do Not Enter Signs”.  Michael Jacob Ferguson will forever live on in our hearts, thoughts, prayers and many a good “one time story”.

Mike is survived by his wife Penny, his six amazing children who will continue to make him proud; Dakotah Bartlett (Melanie Dollard) of Wright City, MO, Kristen (Caleb) Tallentof Glendale, AZ, Michael Pairrett of Glendale, AZ, Kristen and Michael’s loving mother-Melinda Pairrett of Glendale, AZ, Savannah Bridges (Cody French) of Warrenton, MO, Christopher Ferguson of Moscow Mills, MO, Aiyana  Ferguson of Clarksville, MO and Christopher and Aiyana’s loving mother Aubrey Ferguson of Clarksville, MO.  The lights of his life were his grandchildren Joanie Grace French and Nicholas Tallent.  There were also the children he made a part of his family Trystan (Madalyn Cagle) and Maverick Bartlett and Trelin Martin.  He was loved and will be missed by many friends and family members including his uncle Tim Ferguson, and his mother-in-law Elaine Vancleve.

Mike was proceeded in death by his parents, Christopher and Gail Ferguson and his grandparents Cy and Violet Hart and Rusty and Mickey Stone.
