Margaret “Maggie” Malawey, 78, of Wentzville, formerly of St. Louis, MO to William and Mary (Zykan) Hubecky. Maggie attended the local schools along with her siblings. She was united in marriage to Church in Florissant. To this union were born ; Christopher, Robert, Nicholas, George, Thomas, Cynthia, Barbara and Evelyn. Maggie, Eugene and the kids opened up their loving home to care for over 50 babies in the foster care system, including the Heiple boys. She made rosarys and  crochet blankets. Maggie was always very generous with devoted Catholic and took on extended mothering roles. She loved hot air balloon rides and giraffes. Maggie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. 

She is survived by her large loving family, children: Christopher Malawey, Cynthia and husband Mike Parker, Robert Malawey, Barbara and husband Larry Bennett , Nicholas Malawey, Marion George and wife Tammy Malawey, Evleyn and husband Chris Rowles, Thomas and wife Kristi Malawey , 39 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, sister-in- law Kathy Hubecky and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene and siblings; William, Thomas, Mary, Tootsie and  Delorus . 

A visitation was held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 405 S. Church Street, Wentzville, MO, 63385.

A funeral mass was also held on Thursday, January 30, 2020, 12:00 p.m., at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Wentzville. Father Brian Fischer to officiate. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, MO. Memorials may be made to The Masses in c/o, McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.
