John C. Schvab, Jr.

John C. Schvab Jr., 28, of Troy, passed away on June 5, 2022 in Troy. He was born on November 3, 1993 in Oxnard, CA to John and Rebecca (Becky) Schvab Sr. While he was growing up the family traveled due to his father being in the U.S. Navy. In 2007 the family moved to Troy and John attended Troy Middle School. He later graduated from Troy Buchanan High School and entered the U.S. Marine Corps a year later. John proudly served his country from 2011 – 2017 in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal and worked as a Landing support specialist. Once he was discharged from the military, he attended Midwest Technical Institute and became a welder. John was always the life of the party and had a witty sense of humor. He never met a stranger and he was one-of-a-kind. The most important thing in his life was his son, Kamdyn. John enjoyed every minute that he spent with him. John will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

Schvab Jr. is survived by his parents, John and Becky Schvab Sr. of Troy; his son, Kamdyn Tyler Walker of Troy; grandparents Robert Spurgeon of Houston, TX, Dianna McClain of Troy and Audra Schvab of Richardson, TX; siblings, Ashleigh Barnes of Moscow Mills, Alanna (Chad) Bromwich of Troy, ,many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives , friends and his dog, Stella Strawberry Schvab and friends.

Visitation – Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

Funeral- also on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy. Officiating: Rev. John Thrower.
