Jacob “Jake” R. Pietzman, 22, of Troy, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 3, 2021. He was the beloved son of Missouri State Representative Randy Pietzman and his wife, Faith, of Troy, MO.
Jake lived life to the fullest in his short 22 years. He wanted to experience everything life had to offer and sought adventure at every opportunity. Jake became family with every person he met. He excelled in basketball, baseball, boys’ volleyball, archery and welding while attending Liberty Christian Academy. After high school, his fearlessness led him to pursue his lifelong dream of being a bull rider. Thankfully, after 2 years, and a few surgeries, he hung up his rope and found much more success with the “636 Cornhole Association”.
Jesus commands us to love our neighbor and Jake exemplified that with everyone he met. His infectious smile and sweet dance moves would bring joy to any situation. Although Jake’s travels did not always lead him down the right path, God’s hand was always upon him. Jake’s legacy will forever be written on our Hearts. “LIVE HARD - LAUGH OFTEN- GIVE ALWAYS”
He is survived by his loving family: His parents Randy and Faith Pietzman; his grandmother, Patricia Kerley; his three siblings: Vince and Rachel Sparks, Danielle and Andrew Likes, Erin and Zachary Carver; his nieces and nephews: Dylan Sparks, Gavin Sparks, Harrison Carver, Natalie Carver and Amerlia Carver; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
