Mrs. Irene M. Byington, 93, of Troy, MO, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1926, in St. Louis, MO, the child of Louis and Irene (Peters) Seyton. After attending the local schools, she later married the love of her life, Albert T. Byington Sr. She was a devoted wife and mother to their children, and her family was always her first priority. She loved fishing, going to the farm, shopping, garage sales and playing cards with anyone who was up for the challenge. For several years she worked at Dove equipment, as a punch press operator, and she was a super hard worker. Irene always wore a warm smile and helping hand to anyone who asked. She was only 1 month away from turning 94. Irene will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children: Gerald Bogert and his wife, Marlene, Michael Byington and his wife, Carla, Deborah (Byington) Lindemann and husband, Marvin Lindemann Jr., Robert Byington and wife, Natalie, Glenn Byington and wife, Pam. Grandchildren: Tonya (Jim) Wombacher, Shannon Bogert, Jennifer (Brian) Leech, Becky (John) Cook, Nick (Ashly) Bell, Ricky (Tammy) Lindemann, Brad (Kara) Lindemann, DeAnna (Tyler) Hudson, Brock (Abi) Byington, Brett Byington and Macy, Kayla Huber and Noah, J.J. Faatz, Nathan (Wendy) Faatz, great-grandchildren: Sabrina, Peyton, Lydia, Cory, Haley, Tristen, Jeremiah, Kailynn, Taylor, Hannah, Reed, Jacey, Landon, Hadli, Carly, Ava, Carter, Kason, Knox, Blake, Madison, Xander, Hunter, and 3 more great-grandchildren on the way, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation to be held on February 22, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244. 

A memorial service to be held also on February 22, 2020, 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Troy. The Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore to officate. Memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice c/o of the funeral home.
