Mr. Harold Jordan, 81, of Troy, MO, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Mill Creek, MO to Henry and Stella (Hale) Jordan. Harold grew up with his ten siblings and was number five. Being one of the middle children gave him a kind and gentle personality; always willing to help others. After his formal schooling in Fredricktown, he began working at General Motors in St. Louis. He later moved to California and worked in a shipyard until moving back to St. Louis and rejoining the G.M. plant. When that plant closed, he was transferred to the Wentzviile plant and worked as a pipefitter. In 1983, he met his sweetheart, Joyce Somers, at the Angus Room Restaurant in Wentzville. The rest is history. The couple was joined in holy matrimony in Las Vegas on June 27, 1984. They always enjoyed their large family get-togethers. He was a man on the move; always putzing around and cleaning his car, fishing, and deer hunting. Harold was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. His family meant everything to him and he cherished each and everyone of them.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Joyce Jordan; his eight children: D.J. (Max) Jordan, Janet (Ken) Freeman, Harold Jordan Jr., Rhonda Jordan, Jerry Jordan, Marilyn Jordan-Louque, Stacey Alford, Tracey Jordan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his five brothers: Eugene (Stella) Jordan, Joseph (Carol) Jordan, Chuck (Cathy) Jordan, Larry (Linda) Jordan, Lenny Jordan and Lucille Watson; other relatives and friends.
