Carlos E. Kramer, 81, of Troy, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at SSM – Lake St. Louis. He was born on Nov. 4, 1941 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Carlos and Luisa (Riesenberg) Kramer. Carlos grew up with his sister, Doris and attended the local schools. He also went two years in college. At the age of 22, he married his sweetheart, Amelia Ipalaguirre on Dec. 5, 1963. In 1975, the family emigrated to the United States and arrived in New Jersey. The couple wanted to come to the U.S. as they believed it “was the land of opportunies”. He was very patriotic and loved being in the U.S. Carlos was a very hard worker and took any and every job that came his way. He was a very good provider for his wife and son, Carlos. In 1986, the family moved to Tennessee for a short time before moving back to New Jersey. In 2011, the couple moved to Troy to be closer to their son, Carlos. Carlos worked as a mechanical engineer at various factories and was a dedicated employee. Fishing and cooking were some of his pastimes and especially spending time with his family was so important to him.
Surviving are his devoted wife of over 59 years, Amelia Kramer; his son, Carlos Kramer and fiancée, Teresa Vaughn; his grandson, Charles Kramer and his sister, Doris Kramer; other relatives and friends.
