The Lincoln County 4-H Teen Leaders are off to a great start for the 2019-2020 4-H year. On Oct. 11, they held a bake sale at Orscheln Farm & Home in Troy.

They sold out of their baked goods within three hours. On Oct. 19, they went to Cobb Factory in Old Monroe.

Teen Leaders is for 4-H members in Lincoln County that are 13 years old and older.

They meet once a month as a club to grow as leaders, getting involved in leadership projects such as judging clinics and officer training.

They also fundraise by hosting a bake sale or having a car wash to pay for community service activities like raking leaves for the County Extension Office or buying birthday bags to donate to the local food pantry – as well as social events such as going to the Cobb Factory, Escape on Main, I Combat, Bowlera or Urban Air.

If you are 13 or older and a member of any of the 12 4-H clubs in Lincoln County and would like to join, please attend the monthly meeting. They are held on the first Monday of each month at the Lincoln County Extension Office, 880 West College Street in Troy.
