On Jan. 7, a report of dumped waterfowl carcasses was received along Shafer Road.
An investigation found 11 Canada geese and 13 ducks which had been dumped on the Crouch Public Fishing Access and along the county road.
None of the 24 birds had been cleaned, and all of the edible meat was wasted. It is believed the birds were dumped on Jan. 4 or 5.
