Coming the week after the Lincoln County Fair will be a three-day gun show from July 19-21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Troy Missouri.
The show will feature 30 vendors and have 128 tables set up for attendees to wander between, and food will be served by the Knights of Columbus with all proceeds going back to that organization.
Both private collectors and FFL (Federal Firearm Licensed) vendors will be there.
Besides guns, vendors will also be selling knives, holsters, scopes and other assorted accessories.
Going beyond tangible items, U.S. Law Shield will also be there, an organization that provides members with legal advice when it comes to self defense scenarios.
The majority of the vendors are official businesses, and thus will require a background check before selling a firearm.
Brandon Kelley, the owner of MAGS (Militia Armaments Gun Shows) who is putting on this event, said that in past years he’s had between 800-1000 people show up.
“Gun shows have a larger range of items, and more particular items that may be harder to find or may not be necessarily new. And then, there’s the comadary of meeting all sorts of people who are interested in guns,” Kelley said in regards to what people gain from going to a gun show.
He stated that prices can also be much lower than prices at retail stores.
Doors for the show will open on Friday at 4 p.m., and will close at 8 p.m., with Saturday hours being from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday hours going from 9 a.m.-3p.m.
Tickets at the door are $10 for all three days, however people can register in advance on magshows.com to get their ticket for $8.
