The Troy Bicentennial Celebration is set to begin on Sept. 16 with the opening of a time capsule that was buried 25 years ago. That will be at 10 a.m. at City Hall.
On Friday, Sept. 20, Jake Shafer will play a concert from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fairgrounds Park. Admission is free and outside alcohol is prohibited.
Saturday morning, there will be a Bicentennial Run at 7:30 a.m. put on by the Troy Running Club.
After that, the celebrations continue in Fairgrounds Park from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. where there will be lot’s of activities for children and adults alike.
