Starting July 15, road closures and major delays are to be expected on Lincoln Hills Road within Cuivre River State Park.

Lincoln Hills Road will be undergoing major construction for repair and resurfacing.

As of now, on July 15, Lincoln Hills Road will be closed from the Visitors Center at the intersection of State Route 147 through the park up to 98 Lake Lincoln Drive (the road to the Boat Ramp). From 98 Lake Lincoln Drive further north on Lincoln Hills Road, the road will be open to normal traffic.

The back gate to the Campground (501 Camper Drive), which allows access via Walker Road, will be open to facilitate campers’ access to the Main Campground.

Park users will also be able to use this as an access point to gain entry into the Park.

The Northern entrance to the Park off Hwy KK will remain open during this first phase of construction as well as the access to Lincoln  Hills at Park Road.

As the project progresses, and the next phase begins, further road closures will occur and we will advise as to where and when. The entire project is expected to be completed by Labor Day, Sept. 2, 2019.
