People’s Bank and Trust employee, Kris Moesch presented a check recently in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s to Donald Danielson, a member of RebALZ for a Cure Walk Team.

The employees held a special event at the bank by making donations to wear jeans to work to raise funds for the walk. The Lincoln County Walk To End Alzheimer’s will be held Oct. 12 at the Troy Middle School and the RebALZ for a Cure Walk Team is committed to raise funds, which will help to advance efforts in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

RebALZ is currently the top team for the local Walk to End Alzheimer’s, currently sitting at $11,345 – well past its $10,000 goal. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

Participants will learn more about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services.

Walk participants also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.
