ESS/WillSub, a leading provider of educational managed service solutions for K-12 school districts, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Lincoln County R-III School District to manage the district’s substitute program in its entirety. The partnership requires ESS/WillSub to recruit, screen, train, hire and manage applicants looking to be part or full-time substitutes in the Lincoln County R-III School District.

Sarah Schmanke, Director of Human Resources for the District, noted, “We are excited about this new partnership with ESS/WillSub. We believe that ESS/WillSub’s innovative software and experience in substitute staffing will allow us to efficiently and consistently place high quality substitutes in our schools and classrooms.”  

ESS/WillSub will place daily and long-term substitute teachers and substitute paraprofessionals throughout the district. Additionally, the company will provide an online substitute management program that allows full-time teachers and paraprofessionals to log their absences electronically. Those absences are then immediately visible to the substitutes interested in accepting the vacant positions.

The Lincoln County R-III School District spans 13 schools, with a student body of 6,500 and a faculty of more than 800,

ESS/willSub complies with state-mandated requirements regarding the credentials needed to work in public schools. To become a substitute employee for Lincoln County R-III School District, applicants must have a high school diploma and pass a state required background check.
