Troy, Mo – A St. Charles County man is in custody after an assault on Saturday.

According to a statement, Troy Police officers were sent to a residence on Robin Hood Drive for an unknown call.

While on the scene for that call, a man walked into the lobby of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office whose throat had been severely slashed. According to reports, the victim had driven himself to the location.

A Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy immediately rendered aid to the victim. In the process, the victim described his attack – and his attacker.

Dispatchers advised officers on Robin Hood Drive of the connection, and were safely able to take the suspect, identified as Timothy Wolf Jr, 42, of O’Fallon, into custody without incident.

Wolf Jr was booked and was charged on Sunday with assault in the first degree, causing serious bodily harm.

The Lincoln County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office submitted the charges to The Honorable Gregory Allsberry, who set bond at $1,000,000, cash only.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, and underwent emergency surgery for his injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

“We want to thank the prosecutors and Judge Allsberry for staying up all night to get us what we needed to get justice for the victim under these circumstances,” Troy Pubic Information Officer Jonathan Alfaro said.
