In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Missouri Democratic Party (MDP) is taking all necessary steps to help curb the spread of the virus in Missouri and to do its part to protect the health and well-being of staff, supporters and fellow citizens. As of Friday, March 13, the MDP has postponed all in-person party events, meetings and fundraisers through at least Friday, May 1. MDP offices will be closed and all staff will be working remotely until then as well. Wherever possible, we will hold events and meetings virtually; those that cannot be held virtually will be rescheduled.

Lincoln County Democrats were set to meet April 6, but now will meet May 30 at the 3rd District Congressional Meeting at a site to be announced. At this time, delegates will be elected to the state convention, which will be held later in the summer. For more information, visit www.missouridemocrats.org.

Central Committee members and the public may contact Chairman Ed Schieffer at (636) 299-3270. The March 12 rally that was scheduled has been combined with the Sept. 12 Grassroots rally at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds.
