Lincoln County, Mo. - A local man died in an early-morning motorcycle crash on Sunday in Warren County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, John D. Kaeser, 24, of Truxton, was driving too fast for conditions on Highway W about 3 a.m., when his 2021 Kawasaki model, veered off the right side of the road a few miles northwest of Warrenton and struck an embankment.

Kaeser was pronounced dead at the scene, according the MSHP. He was wearing a helmet.

Per MSHP policy, all accidents are under investigation.
