Troy, Mo. - Becky Martin will host an announcement rally and meet and greet, taking place at Fairgrounds Park Pavillion on Oct. 9 at 3 p.m.
After her announcement, there will be cake and water.
Guests will have an opportunity to meet and talk with Martin one-on-one.
“I identify as a fiscally conservative, pro-life, pro-gun, Christian, homeschooling Libertarian who believes in individual freedom, government accountability, school choice, reduced taxes, private property rights and, in keeping government out of our healthcare,” Martin said. “I’ve lived and worked in Troy for 21 years and have worked as an advocate for my friends and neighbors. I’m ready to take that hard work to Jefferson City and be an advocate for individual rights and freedom for the citizens of Lincoln County.
“I’m excited to announce my candidacy for State House and have the opportunity to talk with people in my community.”
The Lincoln County Libertarian Central Committee is excited that Martin is running for State House, and that she will provide a third-party option for voters in Lincoln County.
The event is free and open to the public.
