After receiving a call from the Department of Family Services, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Kistner responded to a home in the 1400 block of Old Tollgate Road in Elsberry on May 13.
According to the probable cause statement, Darrin Mills punched a bedroom wall, overturned a bed and swung an axe into the living room floor.
The report states that he was upset over money issues.
Mills was later arrested by Wentzville Police Department. He was then transported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office where he was interviewed. He stated he was extremely mad and that he punched a hole in the wall.
He was charged with Class E Felony Unlawful Use of Weapon While Intoxicated and a Class A Misdemeanor Domestic Assault - 4th Degree.
Bond for Mills was set at $7500 (10% Cash).
