Each October, in acknowledgement of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Community Opportunities recognizes one of its outstanding business partners.

This year, the business in the Spotlight is (drum roll) McDonalds!

When you visit the Troy McDonalds, there is a good chance Travis or Tyler will prepare your order. They are two participants in our Employment Services program, which assists individuals with disabilities to obtain jobs in the community.    We may refer clients for a job, but McDonalds supplies an environment that welcomes individuals with various abilities, provides in-depth orientation and ongoing training that meets the needs of everyone involved.  The managers at McDonalds are understanding, patient and willing to go the extra mile to help individuals find their passion and place. Co-workers are friendly, encouraging and supportive.

Whether it is grilling a burger, frying up those famous golden fries or stocking product, the great staff at McDonalds is cheering each other on. This makes for a happy experience all the way around!

A great big thank you to the supervisors and crew at McDonalds for helping make Travis and Tyler’s dream of having a job come true.

When it comes to McDonalds and employment for Travis and Tyler, We’re Lovin’ It!
