Sausage Bacon Bites was the most popular recipe tested by the Lincoln County Association for Family and Community Education Council at their meeting on June 12, 2019.
Sausage Egg Pizza was the next popular recipe. Lincoln County FCE Council tested nine recipes for “Today Farmer’s” Magazine. The recipes will be in the October 2019 issue of “Today Farmer’s” Magazine.
This meeting was a joint meeting with the Lincoln County FCE Council and Spring Creek Busy Bodies/Millwood FCE Clubs. The meeting began at the Lincoln County Extension Center in Troy, Missouri at 10:30 a.m. Vivian Cody is the Lincoln County FCE Council
President and she presided over the County meeting. Ramona Irvine is president of Spring Creek Busy Bodies FCE Club and she presided over the Club meeting. Audrey Ehlmann was hostess for the meeting and she gave The Thought for the Day, “Hard Gifts.”
She made a peach dump cake, with whipped cream, that everyone enjoyed.

Bodies FCE Club, gave a treasurer’s report. Vivian Cody read a poem on What is the Most in our lives each day? Plans were made for the MAFCE Conference to be held in Jefferson City, August 25-28, 2019. World Hunger was the program presented by Ramona Irvine.
There are 241,830 children living in food insecure homes in Missouri. Each FCE member brought toiletries for Bridgeway/Robertson Center in Troy. Mary Lou Thompson and Katherine Wilson won the door prizes for the day. There were 10 FCE members at the meeting.
