Elsberry High School held their National Honor Society Induction on Thursday, March 5 in the high school library in front of family and friends.  Ten new members joined the already 17 students who belong to the Elsberry Chapter.  The chapter sponsor is teacher, Natasha Head.  The inductees qualified for NHS with their GPA, but had to gain membership by submitting an essay about leadership qualities and their experiences to Head.


The ceremony was led by chapter officers, while Head and chapters members presented certificates to the inductees.  Officers are: Hailey King, president; Madison Leckbee, president-elect; Macy Barber, secretary and Mackenzie Pruitt, treasurer. All attending the prestigious event were invited for refreshments following the ceremony.

Veteran members of NHS in addition to the officers are:  Danielle Georgie, Lyman Heras, Douglas Horne, Cydney Jordan, Kennedi Barber, Brooke Gray, Jada Irving, Brystal Jones, Morgan Jones, Liberty Killian, Kylie Kinsler, Mara Lammert,  Aidan Miller, Veronica Whiteside and Joseph Winters.
