The contest is sponsored by the MOFB Promotion and Education Program. The contestants were selected by their county Farm Bureaus to compete at the state level for this title.  During the state competition, each contestant was interviewed by a panel of judges who considered knowledge of the industry, speaking ability and personality. The top male and female winner received a $1,250 scholarship from the MOFB Foundation for Agriculture and will represent Farm Bureau and agriculture at events across Missouri.

The four finalists each received a $500 scholarship. MOFB President Blake Hurst recognized the youth during an ambassadors’ luncheon earlier that day.
