Izabella Kidwell

Troy, Mo. - During the 93rd Missouri FFA Convention, Izabella Hutton Kidwell was named the 2021-2022 State FFA Vice President. 

Kidwell is a member of the Troy FFA Chapter. Her parents are Megan Hutton Kidwell and Tyler Witt of Warrenton. Her advisors are Matthew McCroy, Robert Calvin and Elizabeth Utterback. 

Kidwell’s supervised agricultural experience program includes owning over 45 head of cattle, hogs, donkeys, rabbits and poultry, performing over 200 hours of research on animal reproduction and increasing yields in production agriculture and waitressing at Backroads Pizza & Grill in Hawk Point. 

During her time at Troy Buchanan High School, Kidwell has served as the chapter second vice president and assistant first vice president - and area sentinel. 

Kidwell participated at state in soils, grasslands evaluations and agricultural sales career development events. She was a member of the national-winning FFA knowledge leadership development event team, and she placed second individually. Kidwell won the National FFA Agriscience Fair Animal Systems Division 4. She won the area agriscience research animal systems proficiency and the area agriscience research integrated systems proficiency awards. 

She was named Area Star in Agriscience. Kidwell is a graduate of Helping Youth Maximize Agricultural eXperiences Academy. 

In addition to FFA, Kidwell was involved in the A+ program, community youth volunteers, Distributive Education Clubs of America and Technology Student Association. She also served as the Educators Rising vice president. She participates in varsity wrestling, and track and field. 

Outside of high school, she is captain of the Midwest Intensity 18u Fastpitch Softball team.
