While area boys and girls basketball teams compete in the Bowling Green Tournament every other night, cheer squads from eight schools are vying for the title of Best Cheer Team at the tournament.  In most cases cheer teams spend every night on the sidelines supporting and encouraging their respective schools for both boys and girls teams.

According to Coach Braden and Fay Mayes, “Although it is a long six nights, it gives the girls the opportunity to showcase what they have spent many hours working on for Elsberry’s fans.  We are excited that they were rewarded for their commitment to each other and the team.”
