Santa Claus is coming to the Lincoln County Farmers’ Market for the third-straight year.

On Nov. 7, Lincoln County Fire Protection District 1 will deliver Santa via fire truck to the Farmers’ Market, which is now located at Auto Authorities at 108 North Lincoln Drive in Troy, at 10 a.m.

Children from the area will be able to see Santa from his arrival until noon, and each child will receive a small bag with fruit and a gift from Santa. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring their cameras.

This is the Farmers’ Market’s last opening for the 2020 season, its fourth in existence, and the event will have extra vendors on hand for visitors to start their holiday shopping. Vendors will have jams, jellies, local honey and fresh eggs.

Crafters will also be at the market with gifts for sale, and lunch will be available for purchase.

The Lincoln County Farmers’ Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and social distancing guidelines will be in effect for the event.
