To keep the memory of Doug Geiger alive, the D.A.R.T. Coalition, the Lincoln County community, first responders and medical providers turned out in force to the Eighth Annual Anti-Drug Rally in Troy, which was started by Geiger’s family after he was killed by a heroin overdose. 

Ahead of the Troy Bicentennial celebration Sept. 20 and 21, the city broke open a long-sealed time capsule on Sept. 16 to view what citizens from 25 years ago had buried. Above: Velma Dunard of Troy holds up one of the artifacts pulled from the unsealed time capsule.

On Sept. 9, the Spring Branch Helping Hands 4-H Club met for officer installation for the 2019-2020 year. Each officer was elected by the club members and learned about their new role.  Read more
